> EFT and EFFT (Emotion Focused Therapy)
> Family Therapy
> Narrative Therapy
> DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy)
> Solution Focused Therapy.
Years of practice have provided Chris with great opportunity to develop counselling knowledge and skill. A wide range of practice settings, with people of all ages, cultures and nationalities, and many walks of life has fostered an appreciation for the value of individual differences. And the strengths of each unique person.
In psychiatric and correctional institutions; as an outreach worker on the streets; and in several community health organizations; Chris has provided counselling and therapy.
In small, medium and large communities, Chris has worked with groups, individuals and families. He has worked with both victims and perpetrators; parents and children; people coping with depression and anxiety; and people coping with poverty and childhoods of neglect and abuse.
Chris considers himself fortunate, as he genuinely enjoys his work, and the people he continues to meet along the way.
